Soccer season ended last weekend but Nathan loved it! He was the fastest runner on his team and he really enjoyed it and got into the competition of it in the end. The games were a little crazy because the kids are so young that they don't really know much about the rules of the game or anything yet. They also allowed parents to go on the field during the games so it got a little interesting at times. There just seemed to be a giant glob of kids and parents moving around the field all together at once! Nathan did really well and got better every week. In his last game he scored 2 goals! After the last game they had a pizza party where the kids all got pizza and cake. The city's rec department provided a certificate for the kids but one of the dads had trophies made for each of the kids with their names on them and everything. Nathan is so proud of his trophy that he has been sleeping with it at night. He'll kill me for telling anyone that when he gets older!
